Mary O'Donnell, age 74 of Centerville, Iowa passed away Monday, February 08, 2016 at Mercy Medical Center in Centerville.

She was born on October 10, 1941 in Centerville, Iowa, the daughter of Pearl and Emma Ruth (Freeborn) Harris. Mary was a housewife most of her life.

One of her favorite hobbies included reading books, especially westerns, mysteries, and Stephen King novels. Mary also enjoyed watching "westerns" on the television. She also liked playing cards, as well as anything that had to do with Elvis Presley.

Mary is survived by her four children, Sandy Wakefield of Seymour, Iowa, Linda Holmes of Chariton, Iowa, Chuck (Kim) Ware of Unionville, Missouri, and Terri (John) Lenig of Winterset, Iowa; three grandchildren Matt, Steph, and Shelby; eight great-grandchildren, Kaylee, Kate, Wil; Mendon, Gage, Grayson; C.J. and Aubrey; and an aunt, Jean Peterson of Keokuk, Iowa.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ronnie O'Donnell; a brother, Jesse Harris; an uncle, Jim Freeborn; and an aunt, Dorothy Leckbee.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10:30 AM, Friday, February 12, 2016 at Lange Funeral Home and Crematory in Centerville, Iowa with Pastor Cindy Finn officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established to the family of Mary O'Donnell and may be mailed to Lange Funeral Home and Crematory, 1900 S. 18th St., Centerville, Iowa, 52544.
