Condolence & Memory Journal

My sincere sympathy, Andy and family. I remember during our high school years the two of you being an item and loved by all. You were truly blessed with your best friend and the memories you shared your lifetime, Andy. May they comfort you all through the days ahead knowing she left many positive and loving behind but her memory will always be in your hearts.

I was deeply saddened to hear of Vicki's passing. We were best friends all
throughout high school and even though our lives took us miles apart after
that I still thought of all the wonderful memories that we shared. She always
had a smile on her face and with that bubbly personality she would easily win
over anyone's heart.Even though I hadn't seen her for so many years I was so
looking forward to seeing her at our 50th class reunion in August.Vicki is such
a special person and will certainly be in my heart forever. Words just aren't
enough to describe the amount of sadness in my heart, A beautiful soul has
moved into heaven and I look forward to that day when I can see her again.

Dear Andy, Jeff, Jason and families,
We are so very sorry for your loss and pray for healing to come to all of you although there will be a huge void in your lives. She was special.
My memories of Vicki are from a time longer ago than seems possible. We were very young and both new to the Rathbun Hatchery. We hit it off right away and had so much in common - the boys, sewing, gardening, canning etc. and we had some really good times.
I'll share my memory of meeting Vicki after we got moved into our house at the hatchery. She came over and one of the very first things she asked was if we wanted to go to church with you all in Moravia. A testimony to her faith even at that young age. I also remember as we were visiting in our back yard our very spoiled and naughty Cocker Spaniel lifted his leg and peed on Vicki's foot! I was so very, very embarrassed but she kindly laughed it off and even after that she made me her friend. I don't think she ever did like that dog though.
So many people have mentioned her laugh and smile - they were her trademark. Love to all of you, Marsha & Vern

Dear Andy and family,
I have such fond memories of Vicki as our family lived across the road from Kenny and Delores until we moved to town when I was in the sixth grade. Our greatest joy was getting to spend an afternoon together playing. In high school, we were cheerleaders together and had so much fun.

Jim was in the same class as Vicki and always respected and liked her so much. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you. May all your wonderful memories of her comfort you at this sad time.

Sincerely,
Jim and Kathy (Spangler) Wagner

Our hearts go out to you, Andy, and your family in your loss. Bonnie and I have so enjoyed getting to know Vicki. Her smile could light up the room! I remember one evening some seven or eight years ago when you guys had some of us fisheries folks over for supper. I went to open a bottle of tonic water and it literally exploded all over your kitchen! Vicki just laughed and handed me a roll of paper towels. It was a fun time that night and the memory will stay with me forever. We hope that in time your memories of Vicki will bring more smiles than tears. God bless you and your family.

I want to extend my condolences to Vicki"s family and friends. As we are planning our 50th high school reunion, her death both saddens me because we will not get to see her again and acts as a reminder not to put off reaching out to people who have touched our lives. Even though we have not had contact for many years, I know a light has gone out in the world. With fond remembrance, Kristi Nerem
