I was Bobs friend and caregiver. I took care of him a couple times after he came out of the hospital. He always made me laugh...God Bless you Bob...

It was so unusual to go home to Centerville and talk to someone that new my dad. My dad Doyle Curtis died 55 years ago, but Bob remembered him and would talk to me about him. He made my day.

We are sorry for your loss. He was a hard worker and Centerville should be proud to have had him there for all of those years.

My thoughts and Prayers are with all of Bobs family. Paul and I knew Bob through the Scrap buisness. He was a joy to be around. Remembering the way he would always put the steering wheel up to the top before he got out of the vehicle. God Bless.

I have only known Bob for the last 14 month, since we have put together a Regional Board of REALTORS together. But Bob has shown us his great work ethic, His understanding for change within our industry.

A few things I will remember about Bob - A man of great integrity - A soft spoken gentleman with a quick smile.

A man who will truly be missed by many.

We have sent a memorial gift to the REALTOR Foundation of IOWA in memory of Bob.

Rest in Peace Friend. .

I have fond memories of Bob and his friendship. I enjoyed many exclusive meals with Bob at the Brown Basket. Junior Brown (the Chef) always treated Bob SPECIAL which Bob deserved. Although older than me, Bob always treated me with respect as he shared his EXTREME BUSINESS SAVY. I hope that the commuinty of Centerville realizes and acknowledge what Bob has meant to the area.
OH! the memories of the SADDLE ROCK CAFE and the gatering of the REAL BRAINS of Appanoose county. Bob was always the SILENT CHAIRMAN!

Saddened by this news. Having only met Bob a few years ago, he was welcoming to a stranger. Always had a smile and asked how you are doing. You will be missed friend. RIP

Bob was one of my first employers setting mobile homes and helping taking care of his car wash. Great person to work for. He always remembered me and greeted me with a smile and Hello. Will be missed in the community. Rest in peace Bob.

Bob Rosencrants is a name that I have never forgotten in my 57 years, nor ever will. I hadn't seen Bob for a very long time, probably since the mid-70's, but I did have the blessing of talking to him on the phone just a couple years ago or so. He remembered me too. It sure was wonderful to hear his voice again. My first memory of Bob is when he had the used car dealership & small salvage yard out on Hwy 5 South back in the mid-1960's. I think Dad was farming some land behind Bob's dealership then. I was just a small boy then, and I always tagged along with Dad everywhere he went in those days. While Dad was busy with the farming there I would go to Bob's place and hang out, and what an adventure it was. I can still perfectly picture Bob from those days in my mind, with his dark wavy hair, his dark complexion, and his gravelly voice. But most of all I remember how friendly he was, how he was quick with a smile and laugh, and how kind he was to me. A good way to summarize Bob is that he loved people and that he never knew a stranger. I extend my deepest sympathies to Robert and all of Bob's Family, and I pray that God comforts them and that they are also comforted by their memories and by knowing how much Bob meant to so many people. Amen.

Bob was a humble man who always had a smile and "hello" for you. We have so enjoyed getting to know him these last few years. He was an awesome businessman who always had time for others. Prayers to Robert and the family and Bob's close friends and colleagues. May God comfort you all!
