Ronald Gene Rowe, age 72 of Ottumwa, Iowa passed away Friday, December 04, 2015 at his home after a brave battle with Kidney Cancer.

Ronald was born July 12, 1943 in Ottumwa, Iowa, the son of Margorie Elliott. He served his country in The United States Army from 1960-1963. He was united in marriage to Linda Breckenridge on October 11, 1964.

He was a carpet and flooring installer for over forty years. Floor to Ceiling was the last store he worked out of before his retirement. Ron loved his family and his farm. He was most happy on his tractor or bulldozer putting around the fields.

Ronald is survived by his wife Linda; his children, Lori (Mark Peden) Miller of Ottumwa, Melinda Franklin of Ottumwa, Hayley (Eric) Ballew of Marion, Courtney Hammond of Ottumwa, A. Grant of Ottumwa and Taylor Franklin of Ottumwa; Grandaughters, Darcie (Jason) Essary of Bloomfield, Lindsey (A.J. Rachford) Miller of Ottumwa; step-grandchildren, Cassie Young of Ottumwa and Corey Miller of Ely; great-grandchildren, Chloee Essary, Nigel Essary, Alexis Rowe and Aubrey Ballew.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date. A memorial has been designated to either the Good Samaritan Hospice or Kidney Cancer Research and may be mailed to Lange Funeral Home and Crematory, 1900 S. 18th St., Centerville, Iowa, 52544.
