Sorry to hear of JoElla's passing. Our Moms were first cousins. My mother was Eleanor Lowe Stuart and lived in Centerville. I remember visiting Elaine and family in Brazil for family dinners. My mom and dad and I went to visit JoElla when Jerry was born and I got to hold him. I'm sorry JoElla and I lost touch over the years, but I will always remember her long blonde hair and her braids. You have my sympathy, I know you will miss her.

Grandma Jo was just that Grandma. Didn't matter that I wasn't blood related to her I was her granddaughter and she treated me as such. I was always welcome at her house(so long as I didn't swipe her Pepsi) and she was never afraid of telling me when I was being stupid or needed my butt kicked. Often telling me how she'd tell my mother on me the next day at work knowing my mom would tell her to whip me if she needed to. She was and amazing woman with lots of love for her family. She will be greatly missed. She welcomed me into her family with open arms and I know she was welcomed in heaven the same way. I love you grandma Jo! R.I.P.
